2 Master Handbook

 (Offered as Temporary after Handbook Meeting and Tammi's List)

Here's the email:

Hi.

I hope the handbook is on the agenda because we need:

• A set of rules and regulations in order

• To disclose correct information for owners who request a Resale Certificate

• Because state law requires it and

• The current handbook is not correct.

I know how much some on the board hate that I do things that they believe should be done as a board and by Adam. But it’s been a YEAR. 

So I suggest that we TEMPORARILY use the attached DRAFT instead of the one Adam has now until a final one is approved. Here is the original of this version with all the changes made in the column of comments on the right.

Please note that we will need to remove: Either page 3 or 4. I’ve included both for comparison.

I’ve taken out or modified the following parts that are listed in Tammi's summary--

• Updated front page

• Added vaping

• Make LCElements align with by-laws…took it out

• Added “leaks” as a topic and adding that people need to contact Adam to help figure out how to handle p.13

• Removed director rotation

• Update the Animals and Pets section p. 15

• Removed paragraph about mailbox lock p. 9

• Update area about fireplaces not being able to use wood and only gas  p.8

• Update about the flooring…Noise Control p.9

• Streamlined all topics and table of contents

We would only need to decide on removing or changing--

• the last two pages which summarize and update moving in or out as approved by previous boards instead of current section with mistakes and is also already info that is given on pages 9 and 11

• Either page 3 or 4. I’ve included both for comparison.

I think that’s all.
